We first started making shoes in 1977 and have since been continuing our tradition and ethics. We are proud to offer sustainable footwear made to our customers specifications. We use natural materials where possible and construct our shoes so they can be resoled and repaired when necessary. Customer service is at the heart of what we do. We enjoy chatting with our customers to provide a happy, pleasant experience for all.
Once you purchase a pair of shoes we then keep the size and pattern on file meaning it's easy to re-order or have your old pair resoled. Lots of our customers bring in shoes that are 10, 20 or even 30 years old for resoling. They find it quite hard to believe we still have the original sizing specification to when the shoes were purchased all that time ago. Maybe one day we'll go digital... but it's quite hard when you have a record of around 50,000 shoes!
As well as making shoes we also stock a range of sustainable clothing companies in our shop, along with socks, hosiery, leather bags, belts and accessories.
