Rainbow Yarns is a small, independent wool shop situated in the heart of the Coquet Valley in Rothbury, Northumberland. We specialise in beautiful wools and yarns from independent and larger distributors. We opened our doors in 2015 and have been growing steadily since, expanding our range of wools to suit all preferences. We sell both pure new wool and a selection of yarn blends. We offer free advice and are always happy to help. Our brands include independent indie dyers, West Yorkshire spinners, Jcrennie, Rico, Katia, Sirdar, Opal, Knitpro etc. We welcome everyone into our shop, including well beahved children and dogs and are passionate about what we do. We pride ourselves on our excellent customer service and are always happy to source that difficult to find yarn. We offer mail order and have an engaging social media presence where we showcase our yarns, offer workshops, woolly news and shows and other items of interest.
