Opened 5 years ago Vinyl Hunter is a small independent vinyl record shop and cafe based in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk.
At Vinyl Hunter our aim is to create a niche not currently fulfilled in our area. An eclectic, handpicked stock of both vintage and newly-released records, all in the relaxed space of our record cafe. Whilst music is our passion, the store appeals to a collective of creativity, offering opportunities for live music and events, alongside an area to exhibit local art to the community.
In the past 5 years we have created a corner in Bury St Edmunds where people can come together and socialise, share life's stories and experiences. Vinyl Hunter is not just a record shop, it is a place Open for Everybody to pop in at anytime.
Our team's personal tastes influence the characteristics of the store, and we share our knowledge and help people discover a variety of music and genres, that they may have never know about. We offer that misused but still important term, an alternative, nt only in music but also within our Cafe space, offering locally produced fresh food alongside ethically sourced coffee.
