I started Bonsai-Ko in Sept 1990,my first ever venture into retail,having spent the previous 20years as an actor.,and I think it would be fair to say that I have been acting as a sole trader ever since, for the past 28 years.The acting experience has certainly been an advantage when dealing with customers,.......discovering which lines work best,understanding body language,and treating potential customers,not as an extension of a wallet,but an individual who could possibly become a regular visitor,thereby increasing the chances of making a sale....at some point !
