Briggate Art was born 1st February 2020. Fiona, a teaching artist from Knaresborough, who rented rooms in village halls and libraries has now got her own studio to teach from. She runs art workshops in painting, drawing, pastels, inks, collage, etc., for adults, children, home schooled children and special needs adults. There are other workshops run by invited artists such as printing, paper cutting, portrait painting and pottery among others.
Fiona is also a working artist and paints from her studio. She takes orders for dog portrait paintings and enjoys painting large abstract and semi-abstract landscapes in acrylic on wood.
She welcomes visitors in small numbers by appointment to keep within the social distancing guidelines.
