Inform your customers of the new law with the Indie Retail Face Covering Poster
Posted on in Business News
The government announced earlier this week that wearing a face covering will become mandatory in shops and supermarkets in England from 24 July.
Face coverings are already compulsory in Scotland - but different rules apply across the UK. However, the rules won't apply to shop workers.
The BBC has reported that those who fail to wear a mask in stores will face a fine of up to £100. This will be reduced to £50 if people pay within 14 days.
Following this announcement Indie Retail has created a Face Covering Poster for shops to display outside their shops to inform customers of the new law.
